With the easing of restrictions announced by the Victorian Government this week we have been working with both DVBA and stadium management to try and get Autumn 2021 back underway.

DVBA have announced they will complete the A2021 season in full with the following measures:

1. Round 13 will be played for all teams on the weekend of 26th/27th June.
2. Semi Finals and final U8โ€™s games will be played on the weekend of the 10th/11th July. Note that this is the last weekend of the school holidays.
3. Grand Finals will be played the weekend of the 17th/18th July

This will then push the first week of Spring season out to the weekend of 24th/25th July.

This then leads to Training for the remainder of Autumn 2021 Season. In conjunction with Stadium Management we have organised training as follows for next week:

1. All training times will be as normal.
2. Only 8 players, 1 Coach and 1 Team manager will be allowed per team.
3. No parents are allowed into the stadium. This means you will be leaving your child in the care of the team manager.
4. We cannot have an overlap of teams in the stadium.
5. For Teams U12 or below, at the start of training, Parents will hand over their child to the Team Manager at the front/main entrance to the stadium. Team Manager will then take the team to their court for training.
6. At the completion of training, the Team Managers will meet all parents at the exit point of the stadium (Door at the end of court 1 over looking the oval) and hand children to their parents
7. Trainings will be 5 min shorter than scheduled to facilitate the handover of children and to ensure no overlap.
8. For Teams U14 and above, players arenโ€™t required to be dropped by a parent but must meet with the Team Manager before entering the stadium.
9. Coaches and Team Managers must follow the stadium QR code guidelines. Any player U14 or above must follow the stadium QR code guidelines. Parents dropping off children U12 or below must follow the stadium QR code guidelines on behalf of their child.

Training for those teams that make finals will be organised after the completion of Round 13 but teams will need to prepare for a training outside their normal training day and time.

Thank you for your cooperation with this. We are looking forward to getting back on court.
