Hello Creekers,

COVID has seen a large decline in the number of referees. There are varying degrees for reasons why but in the end, the Diamond Valley Referees Association (DVRA) is working hard to build numbers up and educate new and existing referees.

However in the short term there is a real need for referees to fill the shortfall. If there is anyone that can help through this period, former referees or even current ones that are not refereeing in a Diamond Valley competition, DVRA would appreciate you sending them an email at referees@dvbasketball.com.au.

For everyone else, please be patient and stay positive with the referees, they are human, they are always learning and they make mistakes.
